The AIA's Summer Film Series continues this Friday with 'Roxanne' at 8:45pm in
the Abell Open Space (300 block of E. 32nd Street).
Before the movie, City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke will be on hand to discuss
the legislative efforts underway to secure funding for the renovation of Engine
31 Firehouse on Greenmount Ave.
AND, if their schedule permits, firefighters from Engine 31 will also be there
in person - with their fire engine! Let the kids climb on the truck while you
learn what you can do to help restore a Greenmount Ave landmark.
The pre-show festivities begin around 8:00pm. We'll have popcorn provided by
Waverly Ace Hardware, and will show some classic cartoons before the feature.
Hope to see you there!
Paul BurkPresident, AIA
