Updates: Status: Untriaged Labels: -OS-Linux OS-All Comment #4 on issue 15674 by jpar...@chromium.org: <pre> in CONTENTEDITABLE differs from Firefox behavior http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15674
Not linux specific, I can repro in Windows XP 3.0.190.4 (Official Build 19293) Chrome behavior matches IE and Safari, only Firefox doesn't create 2 PRE tags. My guess is that WebKit + IE follow the simple standard that hitting enter inside any block should split the block. It isn't clear to me what the correct behavior is, but there will be an answer in the HTML 5 spec soon. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
