The H.264 AVI 1280x720 source comes from a current SDHC/USB2.0 pocket
camcorder similar like WinBook (which also includes drivers for Windows
and software from ArcSoft):

Could you make a sample file available somewhere? I'm not working for
cinelerra but (indirectly) for openmovieeditor and lumiera.
