The period for nominating people to elected positions and to propose
referenda ends at midnight UTC on 27th July. An update:
1. So far, one nomination (for the Editorial Council) has been accepted
and others are awaiting responses. You may have been nominated - check
your Talk page, the Nominations page and your spam folders!

2. As yet, there is no nominee for the post of Ombudsman. This
nomination must be made by the Councils.
3. There are also three Council-initiated referenda that will appear on
the ballot. All of these rewrite the Charter and so will require
two-thirds majorities to pass:
