Steven, I have not tried Clonezilla live 20070729-jaunty . I am not optimisic that it will work, here's why: Intel does not have a low-level RAID driver for the ICH9R unlike a LSI MegaRAID in the 2.6.30 kernel. I see a default SATA drivers, but the issue isn't with finding the local disks but the RAID device. As a test, I tried a RH5.1 install and with the dm_mapper, it was able to find the RAID1_TEST device I created, but I don't know believe Clonezilla will scan for RAID devices other than LSI MegaRAID.
