AirDrop works wonderfully for me, but Universal Clipboard utterly fails between Macs. Based on my frequent review of Apple Support Communities, a large number of Mac users have a wide variety of wildly inconsistent successes and failures with all of these new continuity features. To me, this suggests that a basic foundation for these technologies, such as Bluetooth, is dependent on some hardware element whose performance level differs randomly in critical respects between machines, causing everybody's experience to differ based on their own individual hardware.
