Although still in a very rough form, I wanted to show that I have indeed
been looking at the questions that folks threw out on this list, and the
questions, some of them with answers that I have developed, are now here:

I'd still like to make this more sharable (not to mention a lot prettier
a more navigable), but until then I didn't want the topics to be
dropped. In no way am I assuming that my answers are the best possible
ones, and some of the questions are beyond my range.
I am in negotiations to use this list to foster some training sessions,
which means that at some point I will probably be asking for volunteers
to bite off a chewable portion and write lessons with hands-on exercises
(where plausible), and perhaps to do them as a webinar/tutorial. Any and
all ideas welcome.
