i've been trying to install the latest navit (2398) from the navit repository, and am having the usual problems with opkg not being able to handle it. i've created a 128mb swap file, and turned off the x server, but no dice.
any ideas, guys? why does this require so much ram, is this a fundamental flaw in opkg? i assume any package of a large size (navit is 5mb, hardly gigantic) will cause these problems. in the meantime, could navit be broken down into sub-packages, i assume it's not one file taking the entire 5MB? navit-gui and navit-data, for example? cheers _______________________________________________ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
