On my compact project, I used JPEGview 3.3.1 on all my 68030 or higher machines, but had to use GIFConverter 2.4.4 for 68000 machines. I believe I used GIFconverter on a couple of Mac Classics and a Mac SE.
It seemed pretty easy to locate a download, but let me know if you can't find it.
