I just recently washed a mobo with rubbing alcohol (91% isopropyl) and used a toothbrush to scrub in between the capacitors and where I noticed corrosion. It did the job nicely, though, I rinsed with the alcohol only once, but after it dried, there was a dusty residue left behind. Next time I will rinse it better. The SE/30 now boots consistently compared to before, hopefully it will last. -tt -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
