Is it true that the Turbo 040 can run in an SE/30 without the adapter if you move the floppy? I thought I read somewhere that if you attempt to just plug it in directly without the adapter, it could damage the motherboard. If there's no need for the adapter, I would be more open to getting one since a physical adapter could be modded. If anyone has an 040 they would like to part with, please contact me.
