Dear Nick, The 18th Game Programming Workshp (GPW-13) will be held from Nov. 8th to 10th, 2013 (http://www.ipsj.or.jp/sig/gi/gpw/2013/index-e.html).
The workshop will close about 1 PM JST (4 AM UTC) and some developers won't be able to attend the November KGS bot tournament, which will start 8 AM UTC (4 hours later, not enough to go back to home for them) on the same day. Could you postpone the tournament one week (or more)? #Changing to "Eu Am" time zone will help as well but may force a little bit tight schedule.
