There are no tigers in Sefdaania, but the following approximates the saying.

This pretty much explains itself.

This is a nice turn of phrase, but what nugget of wisdom is it encapsulating
for your confolk? Paying the piper? What goes around comes around? Glass
houses? Preparing for a rainy day? Making hay while the sun shines? Be
deferential/sensitive/aware of where you're at? One bad apple? Thick as
thieves? To meet your prince, you gotta kiss a few toads? Possible misfortune
lurks behind every corner? Love me, love my dog? Be careful what you wish for?
Pay Caesar what is due Caesar?
I feel like I should be nodding very knowingly in assent to an eternal truth,
but which truth is it?

Still working on these...
In conjunction with one of these proverbs, I think I've discovered my
favoritest Avantimannish
phrase thus far:
bôôuumdomfulle drangelez, which means a horrifically doomful and wicked sound
that strikes fear
into your heart. If there were ever onomotopoeia in the language, then the word
"bôôuums", evil, is
it. You've got that nice sinister tympani strike thing going on here, with its
jarring initial stop followed by
an overlong diphthong (please take no fewer than two or three full seconds on
that one, especially when
reciting a story or chanting a poem), flowing into a nice resonant (and rather
extensible) nasal.
