Once the settings are correct, the user has to manually copy and paste the modeline in /etc/XF86Config-4. It is very complicated for most users. So what about "revamping" xvidtune with GTK+ and incorporate it to XFdrake? It would be a nice option to be able to graphically choose the display settings. I hope you will find that's a good idea.
