Unfortunately (after 6 months) I don't have Mdk 9.1-RC2 anymore for
re-creating the bug ennvironment...

At the time someone objected my explanation wasn't clear: please find below
the attempt I've made to better explain the problem.

Cheers,

Corrado

Nope, there is a bug.

What happened is that I unchecked the 'Automatic IP' (I use static addressing)
but the 'Get name from DHCP' checkbox remained ON and not modificable, and in
my opinion it shouldn't.

Since I needed to set my host name, I had to re-enable the 'Automatic IP'
checkbox, then uncheck the 'Get name' checkbox (now possible) and then
disable again the 'Automatic IP' checkbox. It's a bug, IMHO.

It's more difficult to describe it than to test it in practice.

During eth0 configuration, there is a funny dependence between the checkboxes
'Automatic IP' and 'Get host name from DHCP server'.

If you leave the 'Automatic IP' checkbox ON (as is by default), the checkbox 'Get host
name from DHCP' remains grayed out and not modifiable.

As soon as you uncheck 'Automatic IP' you can modify the other.
