i've lately noticed that when i rsync cooker, none of the old packages for which new versions are downloaded were being deleted...thus i now have in cooker: aterm-0.4.0-5mdk.i586 feb 8 and aterm-0.4.0-6mdk.i586 may 13 and many other now outdated packages...with mandrake's speed of development, my cooker folder will soon grow very large... to make sure that the problem was not mine alone, i checked mirrors at sunet and at indiana...both sites had the same pattern of duplication as mine...so i reckon that the problem is at the source which feeds the mirrors... frank -----------------
