Any hints ? I'd suggest you go add this to the Bugzilla bug tracking system at http://qa.mandrakesoft.com. I have seen one other person (on 9.1 though) with a Microsoft USB sound system that caused a hang after finding modules. Unplug it and it boots normally. Looking at the rc.sysinit, I can't see anything obvious that would cause it to hang there. Put it in Bugzilla so the developers can start to get ideas about what is happening at that time frame. - -- Blue skies...
