I've also got this problem too.
If I do urpmi --auto-select it tries to install libgd2 and then fails
because of the dependencies quoted below:

Did you get prompted by urpmi to remove libgd1? If so, libgd2 may be
incorrectly obsoleting libgd1 (my bug then).

ilbgd2 is required for 24bit PNG export in grass (which is currently
building on klama with this feature), which has been requested by quite
a few users.
