Yeah, something has happened with the menu system. It used to be flawless. Add or remove rpm, and the menu was almost instantly updated. Now when I install an rpm, sometimes is lose half the entries, sometimes I just lose the icons, and sometimes the new icon just doesn't show up until I run update-menus. Weird.
