yep, that's an another story. At the beginning, xvid contained some
non-GPL stuff that added an another pb to the patents ones.
ffmpeg has the same patent pb and is included.

but anyway my purpose was not to remove mencoder, but add ffmpeg, xvid 
and faad to main.
And there is a disclaimer in the mdk license AFAIK.
