I also concur. Even though I am on cablemodem, I still
must sift through
dozens of messages that may not be directly applicable to
me, and speed is
something I enjoy.
If your ISP allows you to get your email with IMAP, KMail
will download the headers and thread the messages, then
you can read only the ones that interest you. That's not
going to help the fellow on Yahoo Mail though, so I agree
that a newsgroup would be a good idea too.
