That depends on how you define "work". It's not doing what you want it
to, so I'd say it's not really working.
The purpose of xfilter is not only to send the message to an external
script ("to" or "cc" can do that), but to replace the message with the
output of the external script. Even in an included file, that isn't
allowed in embedded mode.
That is what I mean when I say that it will not work. You will not
achieve your goal of adding headers by means of maildrop's embedded mode.
