Thanks Sam,

My maildir has 700 permission and owner is mail:mail then how can i change the 
courier user to run as mail user and where i need to change in courier 
configuration  ?

If a maildirquota is set, the Courier-IMAP server will update it. I am not 
familiar with that software and I don't know if it supports the IMAP QUOTE 
extension. IMAP has an extension for reports the mailbox's quota, if your IMAP 
client supports it then it should show the updated quota, accordingly.
