Hello,
I keep getting 550 user unknown when sending an email to my configured
user@mydomain. The exact error is:
courieresmtpd: error,relay=xxx,from=<xxx>,to=<user@mydomain>: 550
User <user> unknown
I've tested 'authtest user@mydomain' and it works. I have the following
files containing only the line 'mydomain': me, hosteddomains/mydomain,
esmtpacceptmailfor.dir/mydomain. I'm using the userdb auth module, and I
have a userdb/mydomain file containing the the mailbox descripion
(user@mydomain password gid uid home). I have the following .dat files:
aliases.dat, esmtpacceptmailfor.dat, hosteddomains.dat, smtpaccess.dat,
userdb.dat, userdbshadow.dat, and all of them are up to date (checked
with 'strings', they do contain the right info).
I'm clueless. What are the steps to pinpoint the problem?
