Test reports will be accepted without the X-Reported-Via header; That header is not mandatory. However, I'd encourage you to set it anyway as it improves diagnostics. There are--from time to time--tests reports that are submitted malformed and that header gives us a first indication of where to start looking for the cause of the problem. That header also has secondary benefits in that it gives us the potential of doing various types of analytics of real-world use such that we know which parts of the stack are being used relative to other parts. This gives us an indication of where to focus our efforts. -- Adam J. Foxson
