Sounds like a bug. The goal is an easy 1-to-1 mapping. NNTP ids are to be mapped to CT2.0 GUIDs using CPAN::Testers::Common::Utils, which just sticks a zero-padded NNTP ID into a GUID template: XXXXXXXX-b19f-3f77-b713-d32bba55d77f http://search.cpan.org/perldoc?CPAN::Testers::Common::Utils -- David
