For CPANdeps etc, what OS should I report GNU KFREEBSD as? I'm guessing

For CPANdeps, where you're providing a "proper" name (instead of
whatever abbreviated version is compiled into perl), I would suggest
stick as close to official names as possible. E.g. "GNU/kFreeBSD" or
"GNU kFreeBSD". Consider "GNU/Hurd" as a good example.
I agree - with the addition of GNU/Linux instead of Linux. However the (cosmetic) problem this creates is a wide table in the matrix for modules where many platforms have been tested, which looks ungainly.
