What do you want me to do about it? You can also try setting one of:
CPATH
C_INCLUDE_PATH
CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH
OBJC_INCLUDE_PATH
See the gcc man page.
BTW, are you trying to build the latest version of XML-LibXML or are you
still stuck at XML-LibXML-1.70?
