I am trying to create a combined tree/table view using web standards. If you don't know what a tree/table is, then take a look at the following example. http://books.mozdev.org/screenshots/moz_0904.gif
The attached file shows an example for what I feel is the proper structure for representing the content. 1) How can I get the attributes (attr-1, attr-2) to align into columns? 2) How can I get the span borders/margins to nest inside their containing div.item's? Incidentally, the tree expand contract behavior is not strictly necessary, I just thought it was kind of neat. (I am using firefox for viewing)
