"As usual," we don't see the same thing, Prudy
Every agreement which Israel has made with any Arab state or, in the case of
the PLO, with a terrorist organization, Israel has given far more than it
gains. The reason Israel agrees to terms in which it does 99% of the giving
is that it hopes for peace. Thus, we repeatedly see things like Israel
releases x000 street terrorists, the Arabs release 12 Israelis. The Israelis
give up hundreds of sq. miles of territory, the PLO refuses to denounce their
official of destroying Israel. We tell the Israelis that Arafat cannot afford
to appear to be compromising in his zeal to destroy Israel.
Israel asks only for normal peaceful relations with the surrounding Arab
states and cannot get it. I wonder how we would react in their place.
Something tells me that those Arabs would be in big trouble.
