They love to say that this tax benefits everyone because over 50% of the
people own stocks. More innumeracy.

65% of the benefit goes to 5% of the population, with some 40+% going to the
top 1% of the population.

Of the 50% MOST average people are involved via pension plans 401ks etc,
where there is NO benefit from this reduction.
