-Caveat Lector- The annual US spy-budget is ~$80 billion USD, and the defence budget well over 1 billion per day. And I believe Bush was allocating what $30 Billion annually for the Homeland Security, to spy over Americans (with Bush having dictatorial powers and no union or whistleblower rights or protections for it's employees.) And they have asked for $70 billion for the costs of this war. It will include costs for dealing with anti-war people.
