The article below illustrates the level of psychosis -- separation from reality -- of some religious fundamentalists. They perceive as "vermin" people who believe and act differently from themselves, even though those people are not doing any harm. This because they have been programmed with a religious book written many thousands of years ago by largely ignorant and hostile nomadic tribesmen. By labelling homosexual people as "vermin", the fundamentalists are giving orders to their followers to attack and murder them, just as the Nazis described Jews as "vermin" prior to their extermination program. Furthermore, while castigating gay and bisexual men for promiscuity leading to the transmission of diseases, the fundamentalists are fiercely opposed to allowing them to marry, which, of course, would lead to a *decrease* in promiscuity! The essence of fundamentalism is to believe what one is told by the leaders, and to steadfastly ignore all contradictions with reality. In other words, fundamentalists must reject reason. They must refuse to think.
