Here in BC we still have "free-range cattle ranching". The cattle roam
"freely" in the wild but with modern monitoring and access, an expert
rancher knows their activities and controls them as well as if they were
behind barbed wire. Thus it is for the people of Afghanistan, Iraq and
Canada. Here in BC, the precedent for establishing that the health and
lives of the citizens in such free-range prisons are forfeited amongst
those who disobey the dictates of state, has been established with the
"MHR Regimen". Our case was mailed off to Geneva yesterday. Hopefully
UNHCHR will agree that we have correctly seen the "Monster" in "The Fog of
War".
