Al-Qaida’s military strategy has taken a noticeable turn in recent months,
with a great deal of emphasis being place on targeting those deemed
traitors; namely Iraqis that support US forces and the militia of the
secular Kurds, know as the Badr Brigades.
A fast glance of military reports issued over the past thee month by
Al-Qaida in the land of the two Rivers shows a three to one ratio of
operations against those considered traitors and apostates over attacks
against US forces.
While this appears to be a direct military tactic by Sheikh Abu Musab
Zarqawi in Iraq, there are also other factors at play. US forces in Iraq, as
in Afghanistan and virtually all its wars in recent time, favour using cheap
local blood to fight their battles for them, preferring to send the locals
to their deaths first and saving their own personnel keeping the body count
down.
Another factor is oil. The Kurdish north wants autonomy and a major part of
Iraqs oil wealth as reward for their assistance in the occupation. Whether
Al-Qaida is trying to prevent that, or simply trying to establish “La ilaha
ilala Muhammadur Rasul Allah”, the Badr Brigades are clearly in al-Qaida’s
sightlines. With the local Omar Brigades firmly entrenched and Jaish Ansar
Al-Sunnah following suit, what is absolutely clear is that Iraqis that
assist US forces are now frontline direct targets.

On 10th Rajab 1426 (August 15th 2005), one of the lions of Al-Bara’a Bin
Malik Martyrs Brigade accomplished his final mission and call; targeting
supporters of crusaders and Jews the restaurant of Khatoon Bilkaradah where
the apostate police gather and using an explosive body belt. The incident
occurred just before noon on Monday and killed between 6 to 8, by the grace
of Allah.

damaging three police vehicles and causing several Casualties, by the grace
of Allah.

Radi, by the grace of Allah.

On August 9th Rajab 1426 August 14, 2005, your Brothers from the Mujahideen
assassination squad, was able to ambush an apostate office on his way to
work, escorted by a patrol police car, the officer was killed instantly and
his guard had the same destiny by the grace of Allah.
