-Caveat Lector-
Well, Bob, a space alien threat somehow seems more interesting
(entertaining) than
the threat posed by the usual cast of suspects.
Somehow, it's kind of a romantic idea that space aliens are infiltrating
terra firma, passing on their technology to us (back engineering),etc.
And the assertion that they're interested in our women... well! Earth
girls are cute, aren't they?
Yes, Dr. Jacobs probably does put too much credence in the stories of the
abductees. Then again, people are having strange experiences. The
"sightings" continue, and not all of the stories of UFOs can be completely
dismissed. Personally, I would like to see a UFO...but everytime I look
up at the sky, all I see is the same dull blue emptiness. I'm afraid that
we are residing on a lonely blue marble, spinning endlessly in space,
with no other critters living in our neighborhood.
And if all we have is each other ( as human beings), we're probably in
trouble.
