CHECK out the latest in political fashion -- "Hillary Gear."
Hillary Rodham Clinton is taking Senate-candidate merchandising
to a new level with the opening of an Internet store
(www.hillarystuff.com) that offers lots more than just bumper
stickers.
How about a stylish polo shirt embroidered with the "Hillary for
U.S. Senate" logo ($35) or a heavy-weight sweatshirt ($30)
similarly adorned.
Also available are Hillary T-shirts, baseball caps, lapel pins,
computer mouse pads and coffee mugs.
"Your one-stop source for all your Hillary campaign needs," says
the new Web site.
The officially licensed, approved and union-made "Hillary Gear"
is provided by Financial Innovations, a firm that worked for the
Democratic National Committee and President Clinton's
inauguration in 1997.

The Westchester Democratic party is thanking its lucky stars the
Clintons picked Chappaqua to live.
The first couple have agreed to star at the party's annual county
dinner -- which will drive ticket sales for the fund-raiser
through the roof.
It's the first time a sitting president has attended, and the
event promises to be in a different league from last year, when
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.) was the guest of honor.
The specific date -- probably in June -- will be whenever the
Clintons want, said county Democratic boss David Alpert.
