BO My and Bo Gritz's old buddy Jerry Gillespie seems to now be working hard to destroy not just Bo, but, any relationships between him and his friends and supporters. I'm in the barrel this week, as I understand that Jerry has said some things that are either not true, half truths, or "twisted the meaning" of some of the conversations he and I had about his and Bo's break-up several years ago. I cannot understand why Jerry thinks that by destroying my relationship with brother Bo will somehow, help him in trying to perhaps, redeem himself, or purge his soul, over going to Conneticut and testifying falsely against Bo at trial. I just heard about this and don't have any time to deal with this at this time - as I have to go out of town tonight, and will not be back until Monday next week. But, this latest tale of twisting of my words, false, and/ misleading tale about me saying brother Bo "is a liar",... "Bo tried to get me and others to commit crimes" and that "I asked for a meeting with Jerry to get together to talk about Bo's lies" is utterly false and has to be challenged before it gets legs. Anyone that knows of brother Bo and my close relationship, for all these years, would know that I would not accuse him of such things or such activities - to anyone. But, for those who don't know of our relationship, for the record, I have never said "that Bo ever tried to get me to commit a crime". And I have never said "that Col. Bo is a liar." Jerry and Mary Gillespie were my friends for many years, and along with Bo and Claudia, we have grieved over the problems that occurred in that relationship and the destruction of our long friendship. Now, that Bo, Jim and Sheldon, have been exonerated, it would be good if all of us could focus on America's substantial ills again. You can bet, our nation's enemies love to see us trying to destroy each other rather than focusing our limited resources on them.
