It is really great to see Nexus Magazine represented here. This mag. was one of the
first which introduced me to the idea of hidden history, conspiracy and cover up.
Duncan you are a welcome addition her, IMO. As for this particular thread, you have
noted the Cremo book, Forbidden Archeology which is an excellent reference. The
particular story, which I read about in the book and in Nexus Magazine, about the
archelogical finds in Mexico is one of the best cases for the suppression of valid
scientific inquiry. It illustrates best the notion that the "theories" that are held
onto by the mainstream science establishment are more like Holy Grails of belief that
must be saved from the unorthodox heretics which seek to assail it. Science should be
about questioning and revising, and there is little done in that regard when pet
theories are tampered with. Another good case is the story of a site in Michegan or
Minnesota where stone tools were found in glacial gravel deposits which could be tens
of thousands of years older than man was supposed to have been here. Don't here much
about that one either, unsurprisingly.
