By Ed Hohmann InfoWars.com has learned that the supposedly independent British company hired by the Justice Department to analyze the March 19, 1999 Fort Hood FLIR video is actually a Washington, DC-area defense contractor with ties to the BATF. Vector Data Systems is a division of Anteon Corporation, a professional technical services corporation staffed with 4,000 highly trained employees in more than 70 offices and government sites worldwide. The Fort Hood FLIR video project was staged by the government in order to counter the evidence presented in two documentary films produced by Michael McNulty that show clear evidence of government gunfire during the Mt. Carmel Massacre on April 19, 1993. The first film, Waco: The Rules of Engagement, released in 1997, contains Dr. Edward Allard's expert analysis of the government's FLIR video taken during the Mt. Carmel Massacre. A former deputy director of the U.S. Defense Department's Night Vision Laboratory and a pioneer in the field of infrared thermal imaging who holds several patents on FLIR technology, Dr. Allard presents conclusive evidence that the government's own FLIR video shows multiple gunmen firing machineguns into the Mt. Carmel church during the massacre. The second film, Waco: A New Revelation, contains additional condemning analysis of the FLIR video, plus new information concerning the use of pyrotechnic devices and demolition charges by the government forces. During the film's production in 1999, McNulty's ongoing investigations triggered the release of dramatic evidence that the government had long been suppressing. A domino effect occurred as more and more skeletons fell out of the government's closet. The publicity surrounding these events focused increased attention on the Mt. Carmel massacre, not only in the free press, but in the controlled mass media outlets as well. Although several other excellent documentaries have been made about the Mt. Carmel Massacre, it is without a doubt that the two Waco films have done more than anything else to convince skeptics that the American government engaged in the deliberate murder of innocent people at Mt. Carmel. Dr. Edward Allard's detailed point-by-point description accompanying the clear FLIR video images of machinegun fire leave the viewer with no doubts that government killers were at work there that day. The popular television show CBS 60 Minutes lost credibility in many people's eyes when Waco: The Rules of Engagement exposed their suppression of a 1996 FLIR analysis by Infraspection Institute that they themselves had commissioned. In January 2000, CBS 60 Minutes II aired a segment that contained new testimony by Paul Beaver, a British military night vision expert. Both the suppressed Infraspection Institute report and Paul Beaver's analysis concluded that the FLIR video showed gunfire being directed into the Mt. Carmel church. In order to stem the rising tide of public awareness that government forces had deliberately murdered men, women, and children at Mt. Carmel, two new government operations were begun. The House Government Reform Committee, chaired by Rep. Dan Burton, opened up an investigation into the massacre, and US Attorney General Janet Reno hired John Danforth to act as an independent counsel to investigate her and her own organization's involvement. It would be necessary for both investigations to tackle the evidence presented by the 1993 government FLIR video of the massacre. The House Committee hired FLIR expert Carlos Ghigliotti of Infrared Technology to perform an analysis of the 1993 government FLIR tape. Mr. Ghigliotti was a man of honor who could not be bought. He not only confirmed Dr. Allard's opinions about the gunshots, but went to extraordinary lengths to correlate broadcast video footage with the FLIR video to identify the shooters themselves. However, Dan Burton's House Committee suppressed the evidence being presented to them, ostensibly because the country would be too "shocked" by it. Carlos Ghigliotti was found dead in his office on April 28, 2000 before he could report his final results to the Committee. Janet Reno's man, John Danforth, decided to conduct a stage-managed test at Fort Hood, Texas of a FLIR system similar to the one that filmed the massacre. The test occurred on Sunday, March 19, 1999. Danforth hired Vector Data Systems to perform the analysis of the Fort Hood FLIR tape for the government side, referring to Vector Data Systems as independent investigators, even though they are just as independent of Janet Reno as he himself is. Dr. Edward Allard was also supposed to be present for the test and be allowed to review the results. Unfortunately, Dr. Allard suffered a stroke the Thursday before the Fort Hood FLIR test, so he was unable to contribute to the analysis. Dr. Allard's stroke occurred the same evening that McLennan County Sheriff Jack Harwell died of a heart attack with blood on the walls and floor of the room in his home where he was found. Equally unfortunate was Dr. Allard's replacement, a Dr. Siegel. In March, he collapsed from severe blood poisoning, and was hospitalized for ten days. Back in 1996, Infraspection Institute stated that " due to the potentially sensitive nature of this material and the resulting negative repercussions to Infraspection, we are choosing to decline any further comment surrounding this taped incident and our subsequent professional opinions regarding it's viewing". This leaves only Vector Data Systems to provide an expert analysis of the FLIR video for the two government "investigations". Vector Data Systems, a division of Anteon Corporation, is touted as being "independent". However, Anteon Corporation and the BATF have a financial relationship that could conservatively be described as a severe conflict of interest. The timing of some major contracts between the Treasury Department and Anteon is very enlightening and raises the suspicion that the choice of Anteon's Vector Data Systems division to perform FLIR analysis for the government was perhaps planned for some time. * The film Waco: The Rules of Engagement (http://reviews.imdb.com/Reviews/91/9133) was released in 1997. It presents Dr. Edward Allard's testimony that the government's own FLIR video shows multiple gunmen firing into the Mt. Carmel church during the massacre. * On July 17, 1997 the Treasury Department established a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Anteon Corporation for Oracle products. * In 1999, the investigations for the film Waco: A New Revelation (http://www.aobs-store.com/reviews/waco_revelation.htm) focused increased attention on the Mt. Carmel massacre, and the FLIR tapes in particular. * On September 19, 1999, a grass-roots group of volunteers began rebuilding the Mt. Carmel Church (www.rebuildthechurch.com). This project was seen by many as a positive step towards raising awareness among the American people about their government's mass murder of more than eighty men, women, and children in the Seventh Day Adventist Branch Davidian Bible Study Center at Mount Carmel. * On September 30, 1999 an Oracle Enterprise License Contract was established between Anteon Corporation and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF), U.S. Customs Service, (Customs), Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and Chief Information Office within Departmental Offices (CIO). The 1997 and 1999 contracts between the Treasury Department and Anteon Corporation eliminate competitive bidding for Oracle products and services. Oracle is a major database product that is widely used in government and industry. Such a blanket contract is worth a very large amount of money. Was the timing of these contracts purely coincidental, or was the BATF reacting to the release of the Waco documentaries by ensuring that they would have at least one "independent" corporation in their pocket that could provide the government with a professional image analysis of their suddenly controversial FLIR video? For those who have never seen the 1993 government FLIR footage of the Mt. Carmel Massacre, a report from a company like Vector Data Systems can carry a lot of weight. However, those who have watched Dr. Allard's analysis of the FLIR tapes in the Waco videos may be a little harder to fool. The large amount of publicity focused on the use by Vector Data Systems of the Fort Hood FLIR video to discredit the actual footage showing government killers in action merely means that the government has bought itself a little more time before the inevitable enlightenment of the masses occurs.
