Oh bullshit. This is exactly what I'm talking about.
Once mind control - advertising - comes into the picture, you no longer
can claim free choice. More importantly, teens have not accumulated enough
experiences in their lives to resist peer pressure to be 'cool'. This is the
tack taken by mind benders towards their prime targets. This is pure evil.
Your vague and silly argument that ' freedom to chose ' somehow counteracts
the necessity to get children through enough life experiences to start making
quality decisions about themselves is a fucked up argument and indication of
how pervasive this American sickness is.
NOBODY has the RIGHT to kill people for money. So even if you are brainwashed
enough to say that human life is cheap enough to snuff simply because someone
makes that choice, NO ONE has the right to profit from death.
And finally, personal freedom is NOT more important than saving lives.
Evolution of the species does not depend on freedom. It depends on life.
Freedom is a quality of life issue and does not carry the same importance
as survival.
That's why I totally support those who's motto is " give me Liberty or give
me death." These people, if they actually do what they claim in their motto,
demonstrate the principles of evolution by removing the insane from the
common gene pool.
