In answer to a question below...
When it comes to the BSA, I think bringing up "what heterosexual men who
lead youth groups that contain little girls" is an obfuscation of the issue.
Even bringing up what heterosexual men DO as compared to homosexual men and
what *they* DO, is a further clouding of the overall issue to begin with.
The issue is NOT heterosexual men and never was. Rather it IS homosexual
men.
The issue is also that the BSA just happens to STAND for certain principles
-- and being straight is one of them. WHY, in God's Name, must "being
straight" now have to be an issue all in and of itself?
On another level, should homosexual men be allowed into the BSA, the BSA
would ceast to exist AS the BSA, and become something else, it's direction
and the things it stands for would become corrupted in an instant (and by
"corrupted" I mean pretty much literally, certainly eventually -- let's face
it, if things go the way they are going, all children will see they can be
either heterosexual, homosexual, transgendered, well, just any 'ol thing
they please. The BSA would have no more particular morals, as far as the
crow flies.
I would also say that many see us today as being in spiritual warfare, and
it is in the nature of the Enemy (Satan, the devil) as a con -- engage the
other person in empty "debate", "discourse", etc. Well, there certainly are
enough people talking on both sides of the equation, but there are also
those who very simply and plainly -- do not WANT homosexual men IN the BSA,
be it on moral or religious grounds. I often think that "debate" and
"discourse" is a blind, a snare -- because politikal korrektness, on the
face of it, seems ummm "right". And so, this is the Enemy's first
disception.
And so the cards are already rigged in favor of the other side (the Enemy,
also "politikal korrektness"). And so, this is how the real issues, or the
deeper issues, oftimes become obfuscated and directed into shallower, more
mundane ground.
I think the lines are pretty much drawn already, all has been said, and it's
time for the morally straight to adopt militant tactics -- just like we
witness the militant homosexuals do -- but only LOUDER and even LOUDER still
-- until the politicians pay attention that the tide has changed, that the
moral backlash has occurred.

I will ask it once again: are all you who are bemoaning the fact that gays
would like to be allowed in the

going to sexually molest those little girls?
If not, then what basis do you have to imply that adult male homosexuals
will be molesting their charges in
groups like the BSA?
Simple question. Simple answer. But seemingly too complex for the
simpletons who perpetuate the homophobe
line on this list...
