Yes, Nankano, you are so right! We even had this scam pulled on us once
with sugar of all things, if you will remember. With both major political
parties knee-deep in oil, I guess any excuse will do, too. I am just weary
of every war being so directly tied to oil! Solar rules! I have an 8
panel/wind combo unit that the local power company has all but forbidden me
to use by requiring--get this--all sort so expensive switches to prevent
back flow of power in the event that a line worker should be up the utility
pole between my house and a transformer. Either that or buy a separate
transformer for my house only. Could not the worker come to my house and
request me to disconnect before working on the line and what would he be
doing there unless I called or there was a problem, etc. Then they start
with all the liability I incur if there IS a back surge, damaging their
equipment. They just do not want me to do this. I have never seen a
lineman anywhere in this area in three years. it is new and they do not
want to deal with it. I still hope to some day get it operative.

natural gas is the biggest rip off at present. This is a shameful ploy to
shake down the public once again. Guess someone has to pay for the
election.
