If it isn't a fad item like Rubik's cube, a clue perhaps can be garnered from the
articles regarding the IBot
he developed...
Seems a lot of resources, both intellectual and material, have been put into the IBot
in the last couple of
years, so much so that it would suggest little effort was being put into active R&D in
other areas...so I
suspect that this "IT" is something that grew out of the IBot project...
Remember, according to the articles, the IBot is able to raise up it's front wheels
and mimic a dog standing
on it's hind legs, begging for a treat...
So consider something along those lines, but developed for non-handicapped people. In
otherwords, it perhaps
doesn't have to carry an adult safely up and down stairs, etc.,...
