-Caveat Lector- To those on the list who are interested in the problem of Cardinal Mahoney writing a letter to the President asking for a pardon for a convicted drug dealer. We know that the Cardinal wrote the letter asking for the pardon, and then publicly stated that he wished he hadn't broken a long standing policy of his not write that kind of a letter. It has been alleged that Cardinal Mahoney is a member of the AmCatholic Church whose aim is the destruction of the Roman Catholic Church. It has been further alleged that Cardinal Mahoney has been seen taking part in rituals that are satanic in nature, i.e., saying mass using tacos and beer in place of the host and wine. It has also been alleged that the Cardinal is a communist or best a socialist and because of this and all the above, he has lost his church facilities and is no longer a true priest/bishop of the church. All this may be true and probably is true. But we still don't know what the drive force was behind his writing the letter requesting a pardon for the dupe dealer.
