Well I suppose this is good news, but it seems to me that crime is still becoming more and more violent when it does happen, as in the mass killings in schools, OKC and etc...
 
Interested on some thoughts on this. Is this some kind of political spin. Also, if anyone has data on the definition of violent crime. Maybe it's obvious, but it just seems to me a little ambiguous. Also, why did the government start keeping track of this anyway?
