-Caveat Lector- Israeli occupation army, Jewish terrorists rampage against Palestinian civilians Occupied Jerusalem: 15 July, 2001 (IAP News) - Israeli occupation troops and Jewish settlers have kept up their terrorist rampage against Palestinian civilians throughout the West Bank, particularly in al-Khalil, the southernmost West Bank town. On Sunday, a band of heavily-armed Jewish terrorists seized an Arab building in downtown al-Khalil, Hebron, to protest what they called "army restraint" against Palestinians. The terrorists hoisted a Zionist flag on the building's rooftop and assaulted the unarmed and unprotected Palestinian civilians in full view of Zionist troops. The settlers last night fired indiscriminately on residential neighborhoods, wounding a 9-year-old Palestinian child. Hospital sources in al-Khalil said Afnan Jebreni was listed in moderate but stable condition after she was hit by a bullet in the shoulder and pierced the chest. Earlier, Israeli occupation troops shot and wounded an 11- year- old boy in downtown al Khalil. A Zionist spokesman alleged the boy was fired upon after he violated the curfew imposed on the old town two days ago. Elsewhere, the Zionist army raided several villages in the northern part of the West Bank. Palestinian sources said the Zionists raided homes after midnight in three villages, beating civilians and vandalizing their property. At least one Fatah activist, identified as Iyad Salah, was reportedly arrested by the Israeli army. Meanwhile, the Israeli prime minister vowed on Sunday to carry out terrorist attacks on the Palestinian people in response to every resistance attack by the Palestinians against Zionist occupiers.
