As far as I can see
this is nothing but tripe
poorly prepared tripe at that.
In European Jewish communities before the war you found socialists (some of
who were indeed communists), and Zionists, often in the same family, but
they did not share the same beliefs. They had opposing answers to how to
keep the Jews from continually being killed by Christian Europe every time
there were economic woes, plagues, or the Easter holiday.
As I recall my grandmother was more of a socialist - she thought the only
thing that would save the Jews was the dissolution of nations and classes -
no nations - no reason to discriminate, etc - while my grandfather was more
of the opinion that the Jews need their own nation, and that would stop them
from being wiped out. I dont know about my grandparents on the other side of
my family
the nazi's took care of that.
