In my opinion, Icke's material is derivative of Zecharia Sitchin's. A
good intro book of his ideas is "Divine Encounters". Here's a link to

Another interesting book that precedes Icke's work is William
Bramley's "The Gods of Eden". It too deals with "lost" ancient
