WESTERN MASS MEDIA: MILITARY OPERATION AGAINST AFGHANISTAN TO START
IN SEVERAL HOURS
British newspaper 'The Observer' describes details of the military
operation against Afghanistan. According to this edition, the
bombardments will start in several hours.
Referring to sources in UK Ministry of Defence, The Observer
reports that coordinates of the targets are inserted in the cruise
missiles' warheads. The order to start operation could be given
soon. The operation will start within 24 hours.
According to The Observer, the main targets of the bombardments are
the Taliban's aviation, which counts about 20 aircraft units,
air-raid defence's forces, SKAD missile plants, and armour.
After hitting these targets, the surface operation will start. The
82nd US landing division, 10th Alpine Division, American Rangers,
Green Berets, and British infantry will be landed in Afghanistan.
